Danville Messenger (newspaper) 12/8/1914 article:
DIES FROM INJURIES
"Aunt" Hanah Dunn, the old colored woman who was so seriously burned at
the home of Mr. C.P. Cecil, died Saturday night.  Her suffering was
intense, although every care and attention was given the faithful old
woman.  Her funeral was conducted at the colored Baptist church yesterday
afternoon.  Aunt Hannah was highly though of by citizens of Danville,
many of whose homes she had worked in.
