SERVED IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR

MOVED TO BOURBON COUNTY, KENTUCKY BETWEEN 1783 AND 1787. HE WAS LAST ON THE VIRGINIA TAX LIST IN 1787 AND FIRST ON KENTUCKY TAX LIST IN 1787. HE SOLD LAND IN VIRGINIA IN 1787,

THE KIMBROUGHS LIVED IN THE AREA OF BOURBON COUNTY THAT IS VERY CLOSE TO NICHOLAS COUNTY. IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT HE NEVER MOVED FROM ONE COUNTY TO THE OTHER, BUT RATHER THE COUNTY LINE MOVED.

IT IS A MYSTERY WHY HE LEFT 3 OF HIS CHILDREN JUST A DOLLAR. POSSIBLY THEY HAD ALREADY RECEIVED A SETTLEMENT. RICHARD DID NOT SURVIVE HIS FATHER BY VERY MUCH SINCE RICHARD'S WIFE REMARRIED IN 1813.
