Estates Settled Book B-Pages 62 and 63-Allotment of Dower to Nancy Basye –Dated March Term of 
Bourbon County Court 1825.
 
She received 271 ¾ acres. Also agreeably to the same order we have allotted the following 
negroes to the said widow towit:
A negro man named Earl at $350.00
A negro man named Braxton at $300.00
A negro boy named Luke at $300.00
A negro woman named Harriett at $300.00
A negro woman named Pheobe and her child at $265.00
A negro girl named Milly at $200.00
A negro woman named Lydia at $37.50
 
Note: There is a balance due the Estate by the said widow of $3.33 over and above her own third 
part of the valuation of the negroes.
Given under our hands and deals this 15th day of February 1825.

February Term of Bourbon County Court 1826.
 
Lot No. 1 Platt containing Twenty-five acres was allotted to Newton Basey.
Lot No. 2 Platt containing Twenty acres was allotted to Marshall Basey.
Lot No. 3 Platt containing 25 acres was allotted to Alexander, Louisa, Edmime Garraro Robinson 
children of Louisa Robinson, dec., who was the daughter of Elizamon Basey, dec.
Lot No. 4 Platt containing 25 acres allotted to Elizamon Basey.
Lot No. 5 Platt containing 25 acres allotted tp Granville Basey.
Lot No. 6. Platt containing 25 acres to James Basey.
Lot No. 7 Platt containing 25 acres to Nancy Fleming.
 
Edmund Basey and Valentine S. Peyton and Elizabeth his wife having received real Estate by way 
of an advancement in the lifetime of their ancestor and no coming into hitch pole nothing 
has been allotted to them in this division. Alfred Basey, Thomas Basey, Granville Basey, 
Leonard J. Fleming and his wife Nancy, and Franklin Collier and Polly his wife each of them 
having received real Estate of their ancestor by way of advancement 
and come into hitch pole, their accounts will be stated with 
the division of the negroes. Alfred Basey real Estate by way
