Davidson Bros. a wholesale grocery warehouse in Glasgow. It was destroyed by fire on June 20, 1933. Location in town is uncertain.

Mammoth Cave Rail Bus (1912). Operated between Glasgow Junction and Mammoth Cave as a replacement for the Dummy Locomotive and Coach. Pictured, left front, Mr. J.B. Whitney, conductor and general manager. Others unidentified.

Park City Depot, People not identified.

 

Murrell Hotel - Although shown as Murral, it was the Murrell Hotel which was in the middle of the block, across from the courthouse on Race Street. This building has since been many banks, the original structure longgone. 1907 post card.



Mentz Hotel (Circa 1906) - Mentz Hotel served as the Baulch Junior School for Boys in later years. Pictured, left front: Mr. E.H. Mentz; right front, unknown porter; Porch: Eugenia, daughter; Mrs. Mentz, and son-in-law.

Mentz Hotel (Circa 2000) - now owned by Elmer and Wanda Probus and Reggie Probus.

Glasgow Baptist - This post card is of Glasgow Baptist Church that was begun in 1818, the first Baptist church in Glasgow and the MOTHER CHURCH of most other Southern Baptist Churches in the county.


The I.N. Denham home which was built after the War of 1812. It is located on Hwy 839 near Nobob and was later owned by James Marion and Sarah Elizabeth Simmons, and later by Flava Froedge.
