James WARD, a Methodist minister and Elizabeth TODD were married James WARD, a Methodist minister and Elizabeth TODD were married in Shelby Co., KY in 1824. He was 51 and she was 37 years old. It was his second marriage and probally her second. Was TODD her maiden name or her widowed name? If so, I would like to know the name of her first husband and her maiden name.The 1850 Census of Oldham Co., KY shows James and Elizabeth with a next door neighbor by the name of Catherine TODD as head of household with the following children: daughters Ali,age 11; Martha, age 9; and Laura age 3; and a son, Henry, age 6. Any information on this family will be appreciated.

Looking for the parents of William Watson TUCKER, born Nov 1823 in Halifax Co., VA. He married Sarah Louisa GRAVES in Sep 1851 in Shelby Co., KY. She was his third wife. He died in Sep 1899 at Southville, Shelby Co., KY at Southville in Shelby Co., KY.

REED - STITLIN Looking for the families of Barnet REED and Susannah STITLIN who married in Shelby Co. in 1792. Brothers of Barnet are David, Joshua, and Caleb who also moved into Kentucky.
