Hi Rosemary, found your query in Pulaski Co. Gen Web . I descend
from the Paty/Patty family of Campbell Co., VA. As you probably
know the Cannifax family descends from John Cannifax of this same
county. His grandson, Benjamin married Nancy Patty. I have been
searching for a lost relative by the name of John Paty/Patty.
Family lore says John settled in KY and received a land grant
there due to his participation in the Montgomery/Clark
expedition. Would be glad to exchange info. Thanks

Can this be the same James Eubanks who married Fannie White in
July 1818? I ask this because the 1820 census shows two children
with them who must be James Eubanks children from a previous
marriage. They are both born between 1804 and 1810. The one
problem is that the census shows one male and one female. Is it
the same James Eubanks?

I am researching White, Cundiff, Allen in Bedford Co and also in
Pulaski. I am confused about the Lewis Morgans. There is a Lewis
Morgan who marries Frankey (Frances) White in Bedford Co. Another
moves to Indiana from Pulaski abt 1817 I think. A Lewis Morgan
marries 18 Mar 1806 in Pulaski with bond by Adoniah Morcan (sic).
I also have a Meredith Morgan who md Elizabeth White in 1826
Pulaski. Are all these related? If so would like to exchange
data.

I have a Sarah Jane Adams who I believe to be their daughter. She
married Samuel DICK in Pulaski Co., KY in
1856. Any connection? Elijah Adams was from NC. His brother
Daniel married Celia's sister, Hannah Cummins. I'm stuck because
I can't figure out which other Adamses are connected to these

Seeking additional data on Baker BALLOW (1811-1884) and wife,
Lucy MAXWELL (1813-1884), of Ashe Co., NC > Pulaski Co., KY >
Carroll Co., AR > Bell Co., TX. They had numerous children, but I
suspect that only two were married in Pulaski Co., KY:
1. James Meredith BALLOW md. Sarah Jane WHITE (d/o Thomas WHITE?)
in 1857. Is this the same Sarah Jane BALLOU who md. James
ATKERSON in 1862?
2. David BALLOW md. Malinda BOLING (d/o George BOLING) in 1860.
They later moved to Texas then Oklahoma.
Please contact me if you are researching these lines. Thanks!

I have no firm birthdate on Bertha. It is my understanding that
her birth name was Bertha Mounce. I would only be able to guess
at a birth year of about 1906. This would be based on an old

Grandpa, born in 1900, looks to be about 7, and Bertha is a baby.
