Eliza (Louisa) Perkins Yates married Andrew J. Yates, 17 April 1853, in Morgan County, KY.
She was born in Yancey, NC in 1835, and she died after 1860, leaving three children, John Yates (1855),
Demil Yates (1856), and James Yates (1858). In the 1860 Bath KY census she is listed as Louisa Perkins, and her three children bear the surname of Yates.
Both Sarah and Eliza were the daughters of Amos and Nancy PIERCE Perkins. Amos (1797) was born in Tennessee and was the son of Jacob and Nancy Ann GRAVES Perkins.
