Sarah Jane Blankenship, 75 of Spaws Creek, died at 10:21 p.m. October 27, 1961
at her home. She was born August 7, 1886 at Elamton. She was the daughter of Moses
and Amanda Curtis Cantrell. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Sherman Blankenship.
Survivors are: Carl Blankenship, West Liberty; one brother: Forrest Cantrell, Bement, Ill.;
one sister: Cora Ratliff, Sandy Hook.
Funeral was at 1p.m., Monday at Potter Chapel with Potter Funeral Home making arrangements.
Rev. Ottis Sanders officated. Burial was in Spaws Creek Cemetery.
