Roger H. Lykins, 86, of Malone, died Saturday Jul.22 2000 in Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital in West Liberty. Mr. Lykins was born June 19, 1914, in Morgan County, a son of the late Boone and Francis Vance Lykins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Lykins. He was a retired farmer and state highway employee and a member of Walnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Brown of Malone, and Deloris Fugate of Waynesville, Ohio; a son, Joe Lykins of Malone; a half brother, James Curtis Lykins of Mt. Sterling; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral was held at 11 a.m. today at Herald-Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home in West Liberty by Elders Parley Cantrell and Paul E. Keeton. Burial was in Vance Fork Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Walnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Stacy Fork.
