Lilah Marie Montgomery, 76, of South Point, formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Thursday Jun.22 2000 at her home. Mrs. Montgomery was born Aug. 7, 1923, at West Liberty, Ky., a daughter of the late Stanton and Ruby Perry Conley. Her husband, George E. Montgomery, died in 1983. She was a former owner and operator of Montgomery's Drive Inn at South Point. Surviving are a son, George E. Montgomery II of South Point; two daughters, Barbara Ann Montgomery of Columbus, and Teresa Deaton of Lexington, Ky.; three brothers, Clyde Conley, Charles Conley, and Ted Conley, all of South Point; a sister, Mary Riggle of Ashland, Ky.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel at Ashland, Ky. by Pastor Jason Porter. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens at South Point.
