ONEY, IRENE R. SALYER
Irene Roxie Salyer Oney, 85, of Middletown, Ohio, formerly of White Oak, died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Garden Manor Extended Care Center in Middletown. Mrs. Oney was born October 14, 1920 in Morgan County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Arnie and Lola Williams Salyer. Survivors include four children, Marcella Ruth Oney, Patricia and Patton Slusher, Jack and Emma Jean Oney, and Curtis Oney ; 10 grandchildren ; 14 great-grandchildren ; two brothers, Woodrow Salyer and Glen Dale Salyer ; two sisters, Marilyn Oney and Billie Boone. Graveside services were conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday , April 1 at the Gullett Cemetery at White Oak with Rev. Vernon Lewis officiating. Burial followed with Potter Funeral Home of West Liberty in charge of local arrangements.

ONEY, MOTORMAN
Motorman Oney, 69, a resident of Salyersville, died Friday, April 14, 2006 at his residence at Bloomington. Motorman was born April 24, 1936 in Salyersville, Kentucky a son of the late Bert and Tressie Howard Oney. Survivors include two sons, Jerome Gullett of West Liberty and Gary Cole of Mount Sterling; two daughters, Janet Tate of West Liberty and Nicky Risner of Winchester ; 7 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Oney. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 19, at Salyersville Funeral Home Chapel with Price Porter and Jonathon Arnett officiating. Burial followed in the Oney Cemetery on Route 460 at Bloomington with Salyersville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
