Well Hattie I got your letter this eve. This leaves me well and haven a good time. And I trust this will find u the same. Well they isnt eny thing nue arown hear at the present. I rote Ora last night and told him about Davie Hierguson, John, E.J. Higabe and Oscar Isom running a way. I guess they have come home. Well I dont no whither Il come or not. I am durn shure I wont if I haft to run away. I can see the other boys in the gard house, nott me. As for my self I hant home sick for it woudint do me eny good to come home and stay a few days and come back. Well I am sending u my picture. It dont favor me veary mutch. But Il bet the Kaiser will think I am a man when I git a mungst them huns over there.
