SATTERFIELD, Chester L.
 

Chester Lewis Satterfield, 83, of 4503 Pennyroyal Road, Franklin, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, at the Veterans Administration Hospital of Dayton.
 

He was born on Aug. 7, 1920, in Richmond, Madison County, Ky., the son of Nathan and Nora Lewis Satterfield. Mr. Satterfield was a disabled Army veteran and had also served in the 1940’s in the Civilian Conservation Corps.
 

Preceding him in death were his parents, and a son, Earl Ray Satterfield, 2001.
 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Myrtle Wilson Satterfield; three sons, Roy Satterfield of Woodbury Tenn., Benny Satterfield of Franklin, and Larry Chester Satterfield of Centerville; two daughters, Cathleen Presley of Lebanon and Geraldine Satterfield of Franklin; three sisters, Opal Webb of Waynesville, and Patsy Scenters and Alice Jean Snowden, both of Berea, Ky.; nine grandchildren, Gregory Presley of Waynesville, Michele Warner of Lebanon, Timothy Presley of Middletown, Josuha Satterfield and Bennie Satterfield, both of Franklin, Gary Satterfield and Allen Satterfield, both of Carlisle, Matthew Satterfield of Hamilton, and Rachel Satterfield of Cleveland, Tenn.; and five great-grandchildren.
 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Springboro Cemetery.
