Ida Mae Pallman

Ida Mae Pallman, 94, of Middletown, formerly of Camden, passed away Friday, July 4, 2003, at Oxford View Nursing Home, Oxford.

She was born May 28, 1909, in Richmond, Ky., the daughter of Melvin Rhodus and Cathryn (Freeman) Rhodus. On March 22, 1928, she married Charles Pallman in Liberty, Ind. Ida was a homemaker and a member of the Jacksonburg United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Charles R. (Mary) Pallman of Middletown; a sister, Ruth Null of Oxford; three grandchildren, Beckie (Don) Furguson of Middletown, Dave (Stephanie) Dyehouse of Franklin, and Kevin Dyehouse of Detroit; one great-grandchild, Nikki Dyehouse of Franklin.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Betty Lou Dyehouse; two brothers, Roy Rhodus and Bill Rhodus; and a sister, Mary Conley.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 7, at Nein-Thompson Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, at the funeral home with Pastor Barry Bryen officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton.
