Branch Cabell Miller

Branch Cabell Miller, born in Richmond on Nov. 15, 1932, to Lorraine O'Donnell and James Albert Miller, died on Sunday Aug. 22, 2004, in his home in Sarasota, Fla.

Branch was a student of The Training School and Model High School at the Eastern Kentucky State Teachers College. He graduated from Male High School in Louisville in 1950. He attended Hanover College in Hanover, Ind., after which he enlisted in the United States Army and rose to the rank of First Lieutenant. He was an instructor at the Artillery School at Fort Sill, Okla. After his military service, he attended the University of Chicago.

Survivors include his wife, Julie Struve.
