Megan Nicole Liebengood, 18, of Codell Drive, Lexington, formerly of Richmond, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004.

She was born in Lexington on Jan. 14, 1986, and was a 2004 graduate of Madison Central High School, where she was a member of the Madison Central Dave Team, D.E.C.A. and an officer of Tribal Trust Bank. Megan was a member of the Fountain First Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Eric W. Liebengood of Lexington; her mother, Vickie Ballard Pennington of Richmond; a sister, Sara Noel Pennington of Richmond; maternal grandparents, Artie and Margie Ballard; mother and father-in-law, Dorine and Walter Liebengood; grandparents-in-law, Bonnie Morgan, John and Helen Bove; brother-in-law, Ryan Liebengood; and aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jackson Carter Pennington.


Pallbearers are Steven Wason, Jate Richardson, Aaron Pennington, Lawrence Bailey, Jacob Curry and Noah Noble.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fountain Park First Church of God on Jacks Creek Road with Bro. Paul Floyd and Bro. Bill Fort officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Sunday at Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home.
