Albert lakes age 70 of Race St. Richmond died Tuesday Dec. 9, 2003 at his home. Albert was a retired concrete finisher with the Risk Construction Company.

Albert is survived by his wife Irene Abner Lakes of Richmond. Son Steven (Julie) Lakes of Burlington, KY, and daughter Jeanette Lakes of Richmond. 2 grandchildren Allison Leighann Oliver and Bronte Cecelia Lakes. Several brothers and sisters also survive Albert. Albert was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Nettie Lakes.

Funeral services will be Friday Dec. 12, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Lakes Funeral Home, with Rev. Jay Fulton officiating. Visitation will be Thursday Dec. 11, 2003 from 5 – 9 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home.
