Iva Dozier Harris, 103, Brookstown Road, passed away Friday October 3, 2003 at the Richmond Health and Rehabilitation- Kenwood House. Mrs. Harris is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace (Sally Parker) Dozier and the widow of Haden Harris. She was a member of the Union City Christian Church, and the Union City Homemakers Club. She is survived by

Pallbearers will be William Haden Harris, Wayne Long, Gene Harris, Bobby Noe, Billy Breeding, Terry Wilson, Bill Stewart, and Tommy Halcomb. Honorary Pallbearers will be her great grandchildren.

 

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday October 6, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Turpin Funeral Home with Reverend Rod Stringer and Reverend Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 Sunday October 5, 2003 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent in the form of donations to the Union City Christian Church Building Fund.
