Wallace Allen Dixon, 66, of North Madison Avenue, passed away Monday March 15, 2004 at the VA Medical Center- Cooper Drive. He is a native of Madison County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilson (Myrtle Marshall) Dixon. He was a retired truck driver and a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by a 2 brothers Harold David Dixon and Delbert Dixon, and 2 sisters Anna Lee Yeager and Carol Davis.

 

He is survived by:

Pallbearers will be Robert Issacs, Randy Scott, Dennis Campbell, Willie Dishman, Chuck Alexander, and Jason Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Walter Marshall, Clayton Marshall, James Roy Marshall, David Renfro, and Pat Spaulding and a special honorary pallbearer Greg Webb.

 

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday March 17, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the Turpin Funeral Home with Reverends Jimmy Marshall and Gerald Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday March 16, 2004 at the Turpin Funeral Home.
