Reverend Edward Cottrill, 70, loving husband and father, departed this world on May 5, 2004 at his home. He was a retired minister and an employee of Winn Dixie. He was born December 6, 1933 in Weirton, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by one son Reverend Michael Allen Cottrill, and his father Glen L. Cottrill.

His Mother Edith White Cottrill of Weirton, West Virginia. Two brothers, Glen V.(Gwen) Cottrill, and Richard (Carol)Cottrill of Weirton, West Virginia, and one sister Elinor (Curt) Stanley of New Cumberland, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Marshall Jr., Edward Marshall, Douglas Marshall, Jared Cottrill, Jeff McKinney, and James Gault. Funeral services for Reverend Cottrill will be conducted Friday May 7, 2004 at 7:00 PM at the Turpin Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Floyd Sr. officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM till time of service Friday May 7, 2004 at the Turpin Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday May 8, 2004 at noon at the Sunset Memorial Garden-Chapel of Peace, in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
