John W. Bunch, age 83, of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully August 25, 2007 with his family at his side. He was born February 29, 1924 in Barbourville, KY to Alonzo and Nancy (Williams) Bunch who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, 3 sisters and an infant son. John was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army, 7th Field Artillery; retiring from General Motors and was past owner of Bunch's Home Improvements. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Estelle (Stella) Bunch; Children: Nancy (Jim) Strunks, John Edward (Carla) Bunch, David Bunch, and Judy (Mike) Alford. Also Step-children: Brenda (Bob) Chodkowski and Scott Riggs. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Sherry Feilback, Tracy (Kevin) Winans, Jason (Alicia) Bunch, Diane (Joel) Glunz, Jennifer (Eric) Soehner, Jessica Alford and step-grandchildren: Bryan (Tracy) Chodkowski, and Karen Chodkowski: 9 great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a sister ! Neva Dixon, Olivene Bunch (mother of his children) and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends may call 11 AM - 1 PM August 29, 2007 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave. immediately followed with a graveside service at Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg, OH.
