Louise DAVIS BRIGHT
Louise M. Davis Bright, age 75, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007. She was born on Feb. 23, 1931 in Knox County, the daughter of the late Harm McQueen and Eva Stewart McQueen. She was a retired press operator from Certain Teed in Corbin and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Corbin. In addition to her parents. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. James Nelson Davis; grandparents, Rev. Taulby Stewart and Allie; and a stepson, Billy Ray Bright. She is survived by her husband, Russell Bright; three childen, Diana Morgan and husband Tom of Saucier, MS., Jeffery L. Davis and wife LaDonna of Corbin, Gary Nelson Davis and wife Sonya of Little Rock, AR; brother, Roy McQueen and wife Erma of California; sister, Jeannie Jordan Lee and husband Harlan of California; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, of of whom adored her; uncle Arnold and Mildred Stewart; several cousins, including Wanda McKeehan and Debbie Hensley with whom she was raised; two step children, Joyce Morris and husband Rev. Vernon, and Judy Fields and husband Ray. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 15, 2007 at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Hershel Walker, Rev. Vernon Morris and Rev. Billy Marcum officiating.
