| LOYD HERSHEL BARTON, 64, of West Chester, Ohio, formerly of Meadow Creek, passed away Saturday morning, February 27, 1999 at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the son of the late Dewey and Lola Hill Barton born on September 25, 1934 in Whitley County. He served in the United States Army. On June 19, 1954, he was united in marriage with Maudie Helen Kilgore in Jellico, Tenn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maudie Helen Barton, on July 27, 1996. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, March 2 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bill Gray and Rev. Ray Powers officiating. Mr. Barton was laid to rest in the Burch-Alford Cemetery at Artemus. Expressions of sympathy may go to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in loving memory of Mr. Barton. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements. |
