Mrs. Jean Bargo, 64, of Artemus, the widow of Elbert Eagle and Lonzo Bargo, passed away Tuesday morning, November 6, 2007 in the Knox County Hospital. She was a daughter of the late William Jasper and Gracie Ann Siler McKiddy born on December 4, 1942 in Whitley County.

Mrs. Bargo was a former licensed practical nurse and attended the New Beginnings Church as well as the Living Waters Pentecostal Church. She was an expert quilter and enjoyed working with her hands.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Lee Eagle and a brother, Lawrence McKiddy.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Osborne and husband, Denver, and Debbie Gray and husband, Arnold, all of Artemus; her sister and brothers, Ruth House of Knox, IN, Luster McKiddy and wife, Cleda, of Gary, IN, Lois McKiddy and wife, Doris, of Williamsburg, Ken McKiddy and wife, Wanda, of Goldbug, Dowell McKiddy and wife, Geraldine, of Barbourville, Claude McKiddy and wife, Pat, of Snyder, TX and Glen McKiddy and wife, Alice, of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Mindy Lowery, Jamie Eagle, Megan Brewer and Kelly Gray; three great grandchildren, McKayla Sue Lowery, Brianna Grace Lowery and George Alexander Brewer; among other loved ones and dear friends who mourn her passing.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, November 8 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Mrs. Bargo will be laid to rest in the McKiddy Family Cemetery at Harps Creek.

Casket bearers will be Denver Osborne, Terry Blankenship, Ulysis Gray, Bill Lowery, David Hause and Steven Hause. Honorary bearers will be Jamie Eagle, Arnold Gray and George Brewer.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
