Himes Bargo

Himes Bargo, 68, of Corbin, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3 at his home. He was a son of Laura Mills Bargo and the late Clark Bargo. He was a businessman, having owned and operated a car dealership, a coal business and other businesses. He believed in the Christian faith.

He is survived by his family, wife Nancy Halstead Bargo; his son, Gregory Himes Bargo and wife Angela; his daughter, Kathy Woods; four grandchildren; and to Himes, another son was born to him, Kenny Wayne Williamson and wife Sherry and their two children; his mother, Laura Mills Bargo; seven sisters, Dorothy Parsons, Opal Smith, Genorra Crawford and husband Tommy, Evelyn Burnette and husband Willard, Margaret Benfield and husband, the Rev. Jerry Benfield, Drucilla Adkins and Linda Fannon and husband Terry.

Services were conducted Sunday, Feb. 6 in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Benfield officiating. Burial was in Bargo Family Cemetery at Jarvis. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
