| ELBERT BARGO, 64, of the Turkey Creek Community, was born on February 28, 1936 at Hammons, Kentucky, died Saturday, March 11, 2000 in Manchester. He was the son of the Sudie Mills Bargo and the late Abe Bargo. On February 15, 1957, he united in marriage to Margaret Broughton. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Broughton Bargo; his mother, Sudie Mills Bargo of Barbourville. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 14 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ron Riley adn the Rev. Ricky Broughton officiating. Burial followed in the Joe Mills Cemetery on Mills Creek in Knox County. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
