Alice Townsley Yeager, 79, formerly of Barbourville, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006 in the Saint Luke Hospital in Florence. She was a daughter of the late Lewis Townsley and Nancy Mills Townsley. She was the wife of the late Virgil F. Yeager. She attended the community Pentecostal Church at Independence. She and her husband owned and operated Yeagers Grocery in Barbourville before retirement. She is survived by her daughters; Barbara Sue Yeager Brumfield, Catherine Lou Yeager Martin and husband Henry, Yvonne Yeager and Nancy Loretta Yeager Hensley; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Smith and husband Leonard; two sisters-in-law; Chelsie Callihan and Hannah Yeager. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, March 11, 2006 with the Revs. Tom Bates and Brian Miracle officiating. Burial was in the Lynn Camp Cemetery at Lynn Camp. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
