BELLE FRAIZER WALTERS, 100, of the Route 6 Paint Hill community, passed away Wednesday, April 24,2002 in the Corbin nursing home. She was a daughter of the late Jim and Cordie Marshall Frazier, born to them on Oct. 30,1901 in Knox county. Mrs. Walters was a member of the Paint Hill Baptist Church. On March 16,1929, she united in marriage to Robert Walters.

Surviving Mrs. Walters are her nephews and nieces: Jesse Walters and wife Lucille and Chester Walters, both of Corbin; and Joe Walters of Woodbine; Mascal Helton of Paint Hill; Ga. Ulreich of Hamilton, Ohio and June Smith of Barbourville.

Funeral services for Belle Frazier Walters were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 26, 2002 with the Rev. Denvil Taylor, Jr. and the Rev. Jimmy Elliott officiating. Burial was in the Helton Cemetery at Paint Hill. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

BARBOURVILLE - BELLE FRAZIER WALTERS, 100, Corbin, formerly of Paint Hill, former homemaker, widow of Robert Walters, died yesterday. Services 2 p.m. Friday, Hopper Funeral Home. Visitation 6-9 p.m. today.
