Mr. Ralph E. Tedders, 75, of Fariston Road, London, formerly of Knox County, a son of the late James Samuel Tedders and Mary Jane Cobb Tedders, passed away Friday, Jan. 17, 2003 at his home. He believed in the Baptist faith and was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife Mae Tedders; two sons, Ron Tedders and wife Phyllis and Larry Tedders and wife Carrie, all of London; one daughter, Brenda Wilds and husband John of Berea; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Jones and husband Dean of Indianapolis, Ind.; three brothers, Royce Tedders and wife Vernie of Petersburg, Va., James Tedders Jr. and wife Boots of Wayne, Mich. and Tommy Tedders and wife Glenda of Dothan, Ala.

Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, Jan, 21, 2003 with the Rev. Dennis Chesnut officiating. Burial was in Taylor Cemetery at Black Water. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Franklin Yeager, 63, of Barbourville, the son of the late James "Jim" Yeager and Linda Rice Yeager, passed away in Barbourville Nursing Home Friday, Jan. 17, 2003. He was a member of the Baptist faith and attended Swan Pond Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sisters, Beaulah Hubbard and husband Charlie of Detroit, Mich., Faye Hatfield of Louisiana, Evelyn Buttery and husband Cecil of Sharp Gap, Barbourville, Marie Grubb and husband Coy of Boone Height, Betty Woolum and husband J.T. of Brush Creek; his brothers, James Herbert Yeager and wife Mary of Baily Switch, J.B. Yeager of Barbourville and Glen Yeager of Lenoir City, Tenn. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003 with the Rev. Denvil Taylor and Mr. Yeager's nephew, Jimmy Wayne Mills Jr. officiating. Burial was in Yeager-Powell Cemetery at Bimble. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
