Gladys Stewart Mrs. Gladys Stewart, 85, of Mills, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003 in Pineville Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Creasy Grubb Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Stewart. She is survived by seven daughters, Thelma Hammons and husband Benny of Flat Lick, Carrie Grubb of Lincoln Park, Mich., Wealthy Graham and husband Walter of Bad Axe, Mich., Donna Grubb and husband Dean of Middletown, Ohio, Faye Ratcliff and husband Perry of Riverview, Mich., Darlene Sizemore and husband Jimmy of Walker and Bonnie Mills and husband Jerry of Mills; four sons, G.C. Stewart and wife Dessie of Dayton, Ohio, Ernest Stewart and wife Marie of Mills, Carl Stewart and wife Dorothy of Detroit, Mich.; one son-in-law, Harold Reynolds of Ohio; two sisters, Litha Gambrel of Dewitt and Martha Frank and husband Morris of Corbin; 35 grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. Services were conducted at Salem Baptist Church Friday, Feb. 21, 2003 with the Rev. Harold Miracle, the Rev. Teddy Collins and the Rev. Bobby Abner officiating. Burial was in Davis Cemetery at Mills. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
