| DONALD H. STAPLETON, 63, of Barbourville, was born on June 29, 1935 and departed this life on Sunday, May 2, 1999 at his home. He was the son of the late Chester Stapleton and the late Hester (Hall) Stapleton. He was a retired General Motors Employee. A graveside service was held at the Stapleton Family Cemetery at Scotts Branch in Knox County on Wednesday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Jeffrey Branum officiating. A brief visitation and prayer was held at Hampton Funeral Home at 10 a.m. prior to leaving for the cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
