| ALBERT "Doug" SPRINKLES, 73, of Greenroad, passed away Monday, May 3, 1999 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late H.C. and Lizzie Cobb Sprinkles born on June 27, 1925 in Clay County. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member, the American Legion, the VFW and a life member of the DAV. On July 9, 1960, he united in marriage with Bertha McVey in Barbourville. Survivors include his wife Bertha Sprinkles of Greenroad.. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, May 6 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Murphy Jr. and Paul Baker officiating. Burial followed in the Bundy Cemetery in Clay County. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
