Ruth Miller Roark: "On this day and every day after we shall embrace our tomorrow so we can treasure our yesterdays." Age 77 of Hamilton, OH passed away at her residence on June 5, 2009. She was born in Knox County, KY on October 30, 1931 the daughter of Roy and Kizzie (Powers) Miller. Ruth was employed as an attendant at Cinderella Laundry for 10 years and as a sorter at Mail-Sort for 6 years, retiring in 1996. On May 25, 1950 in New Miami, OH she married Robert Roark and he preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by two sons, Jerry (Jo) Roark and Doug Roark, both of Hamilton, OH; five daughters, Wanda (Dan) Moyer, Sue (Steve) Pegg, Mitzie Anderson, Debbie (Greg) Peters, all of Hamilton, and Rachelle Moon of Middletown, OH; two daughters-in- law, Connie Roark of KY and Debbie Roark of Fairfield, OH; three sisters, Masel Ritters of Melvindale, MI, Marie (Earl) Ballew and Betty (Bob) Hale, both of Hamilton; twenty-nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. ! She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Robert "Bob" and Randy Roark; five brothers, Austin, Isom, Gilbert, Virgil and Lee Miller; two sisters, Agnes Anderson and Margie Brown. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on June 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on June 9, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. www.browndawson.com
