Roger D. NOLAN

Mr. Roger D. Nolan, 66, of Barbourville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 16, 2007 in the Marymount Medical Center in London. He was a son of the late Archie and Edith Laslie Nolan born on December 9, 1940 in Harlan County. Mr. Nolan was a retired millwright and was affiliated with the Solid Rock Church. He enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, reading and sitting on the porch watching the birds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Nolan. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Keathley Nolan of Barbourville; four children, Timothy Nolan and wife, Donna, and Mary Conner and husband, Brian, all of Warren, MI, Lisa Ludington and husband, Tony, of Lexington, MI and Matthew Nolan of Barbourville; a brother, Ronald Nolan of McCreary County; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Joann and Curtis Taylor, Soundra and Marvin Brown, Nelda and Vick Keathley and Jenelle and Dick Keathley; several nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends who mourn his passing. A memorial service was conducted at the Solid Rock Church Monday, May 21 at 2 P.M. with Pastor Craig Clark officiating.
