LAYMON MILLER, 77, of Artemus, the husband of Katherine Walton Miller, passed away Sunday, May 9, 1999 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the owner and operator of the former Miller's Cash Store at Artemus. A complete obituary will be given next week. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

LAYMON MILLER, 77, of Artemus, passed away Sunday, May 9, 1999 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the son of the late Willis and Mercy West Miller born on June 5,1921 in Knox County. He was the retired owner and operator of Miller's Cash Store in Artemus. On December 27, 1947, he united in marriage with Katherine Walton in Middlesboro. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Miller, of Artemus. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, May 12 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Orville Taylor and Bro. Mike Blackledge officiating. He was laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may go the Artemus Christian Church Building Fund in loving memory of Mr. Miller. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
