IRENE KELLEY, age 69, of Ocoee, TN, formerly of Barbourville, was born on March 4, 1932 in Clay County and passed away Saturday, June 9, 2001 in the cleveland Tennessee Community Hospital. She was the wife of James Kelley and the daughter of the late George and Rosa Eversole. Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker and was a member of the Shady Grove Church of God. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Rosa Eversole; one son, Danny Edwards; one daughter, Thelma Edwards; and three sisters, Emma McKinney, Kathleen Smith and Lula Gray. Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Jimmy Kelley of Ocoee; two daughters, Sarah Robinson and husband Charles of Corbin and Roberta King and husband Jody of Cleveland, TN; three sons, Donnie Edwards and wife Debbie of Georgia, Scotty Edwards, also of Georgia, and Pleaz Edwards and wife Jackie of Tampa, Florida; two sisters, Laura Couch and Ethel Farris, both of Elkhart, Indiana; five brothers, Frank Eversole and wife Rosa, William Eversole and wife Veda, Rev. Charles Eversole and wife Mary, all of Girdler, Billy Ray Eversole and wife Gracie of Hinkle, Bobby Eversole of Girdler; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends are left to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Kelley were conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 13, 2001 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Eversole and the Rev. Bacile Holder officiating. Burial will be in the Stansberry Cemetery at Corbin. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
