Farmer, Howard 78 Howard Farmer, 78, of Corbin, KY., passed away Thursday, September 23, 2004 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 26, 2004 at the Hart Funeral Home in Corbin with Rev. Johnny Jervis & Rev. Gary Elliott officiating. Burial was in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, KY. Mr. Farmer was a member of the Sawyer Baptist Church and a Veteran of World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents, John & Jane Nelson Farmer & two sisters, Pauline Stephens & Mandy Marler & one brother, Ray Farmer. Survivors include his wife, Elsie Privett Farmer of Corbin; four children, Russell Farmer & wife Lana of Pine Knot, KY., Thomas Farmer of Corbin, Bonnie Farmer & husband Bill Davenport of Corbin & Johnny Farmer & wife Valerie of Corbin; six grandchildren & two great-grandchildren. Hart Funeral Home of Corbin was in charge of the arrangements. |
