| Mrs. Virginia Lee Hammons, 77, of Dandridge, TN, formerly of Artemus, the wife of Arlie Hammons, passed away Sunday morning, July 6, 2008 in the Jefferson County Nursing Home in Dandridge. She was a daughter of the late Dale and Sally Jordan York born on November 22, 1930 at Artemus. Her funeral service was conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, July 9 at 11 A.M. Mrs. Hammons was laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. |
