I K. F. Slone of Dema, County of Knott, State of Kentucky being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following:.

1. It is my will that all my just debts shall be fully paid.

2. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Leanah Sloan a lieu of her dower $1000.00 and two cows and the balance of the live stock on the farm not otherwise particular named or disposed of this my will during her said life all my property hereby bequeathed to her as aforesaid or so much there of as may then remain unexpended. I give unto my two sons and (?three?) daughters, Preston E. Slone two fifths of the shares, Troy P. Slone one fifth of the share, Mary E. Pigman, one fifth of the share Daisy Slone, one fifth of the share.

3. I give and bequeath to my oldest son Spencer Sloan the amount of one dollar.

4. I give and bequeath to my second son Preston E. Slone two fifths interest in all the real estate and personal property not before disposed of by deed and otherwise.

5. I give devise and bequeath to my third son Troy P. Slone one fifth interest in all my real estate and personal property and one cow and calf not before disposed of by deed or otherwise.

6. I give devise and bequeath to my oldest daughter Mary E. Pigman one fifth interest in all my real estate and personal property not before disposed of by deed or otherwise.

7. I give devise and bequeath to my second daughter Daisy Sloan one fifth interest in all my real estate and personal property one cow not before disposed of by deed or otherwise and I hereby constitute and appoint my second son Preston E. Sloan as executor of the estate of my second daughter, Daisey Sloan and my said son Preston E. Slone to see that she gets her one fifth of my estate (?as soon?) as she needs it.

8. I give and bequeath to my second son Preston E. Slone two hundred dollars to be kept to pay taxes on the (?Estate?) of the Tom Turner heirs heretofore provided for and my said son Preston E. Slone being the administrator. The (?said money?) is to be used to pay taxes on said property (?in case of emergency?) that the said heirs may need it. I hereby constitute and appoint my said second son Preston E. Slone be the executor of this my last will and testament revoking and making all former wills (?---?---).

made and ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.

In the matter of the last will and testament of K.F. Slone deceased. The foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of K.F. Slone deceased of Dema, Ky. was this day produced in open court for probate and filed and J.W. Slone and B.E. Hicks the two subscribing witnesses each having been first duly sworn deposed and said that the said K.F. Slone signed sealed and declared said instrument as his last will and testament in their presence on the day and date thereof.

Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that said writing be and the same is hereby admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded as the true last will and testament of the said K.F. Slone deceased.
