In the name of God Amen.

Know all men by these presents that I John S. Mullins of Knott County, Kentucky being sick in body but strong in mind and memory and realizing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do make this my last will and testament.

1st I bequeath to my beloved wife Mattie Mullins all my Real property of every description except about sixteen acres of land which is bounded and described as follows. (?---?) the head of right fork of Troublesome Creek in Knott County, Ky. same being the home place where the said John S. Mullins now lives.

Beginning on a walnut tree at WM Howards line on Border of and on south side thence on down the creek with Howards line to near the lower end of garden thence on with said Howards line to a (?bend?) at (?fast?) of hill there up the hill with said Howards line to (?a double ---?) thence with same line to Campbell (?--------?) thence to a marked (?--------?) with said Campbells line up the (?--------------------------?)

Thence down the point with Hard Slones line to a marked sourwood. Thence same line to the branch to a (?mastad?) stone at the county road. Thence down the road about 40 yards to a bush on the bank of edge of county road thence a south course 250 yards to the center a cleared point thence up the point with the meander of same to the top of the ridge to W.M. Howards line thence down the point with W.M. Howards line to the beginning. Containing 16 acres more or less. The above described boundary I bequeath to my said beloved wife Mattie Mullins during her natural life to use rent and to occupy the same at her will and convenience and at her death to (?seceed?) to the organization Womens Christian Temperance Union in Knott County Ky.

2nd. I also bequeath to my said beloved wife Mattie Mullins the remainder of my real property consisting of the following described tract of land on right fork of Troublesome Creek in Knott Co. Ky. Beginning at marked stone at the edge of the public road at Harden Slones line thence with main road up to a conditional between myself and Johnny Sparkman at a marked stone, thence south course with the conditional line to a (?---ng?) on top of the point, thence with said conditional line to top of Bog Knob to W.M. Howards line, thence down the ridge with the meander of (?---?) and W.M. Howards line to the line of the boundary first described herein, thence down a cleared point with the (?markers?) of same to the end of the 250 yard (?call?) referred to in the boundary first described, thence with said 250 yard (?call?) to the bush at the edge of the public road, thence up the road about 40 yards to the beginning. Containing about 40 acres be the same more or less, to sell and convey or to use at her own convenience in any manner she sees fit. But in the event my said beloved wife should die without disposing of the tract of land the same shall (?divided?) one half (?my?) brothers & sisters in equal proportion and the other (?half?) her brothers and sisters in equal proportion.

3. I also bequeath to my beloved brother Jasper J. Mullins the sum of one hundred dollars for (?-----?) on me during my sickness to be paid by my wife Mattie Mullins out of my personal estate within the year after (?my ----?)

of Brother Jasper J. Mullins should die before said amount was paid to him the sum shall belong to my wife.

4th After my just debts and burial expenses and the one hundred dollars to Jasper J. Mullins are paid out of my personal estate,

I bequeath to my beloved wife Mattie Mullins the remainder of my personal property of any description.

And I do hereby make the above and forgoing as my last will and testament dated this 17th day of November 1910.

This day came Mattie Mullins by atty and tendered and filed the last will and testament of John S. Mullins for probate. Thereupon R. H. Amburgey one the subscribing witnesses thereto being duly sworn stated that the same was the last will and testament of the said Mullins. That it was written by him at the direction of said Mullins who signed the same in his presence and in the presence of Willie Combs the other subscribing witness to same and that the said Combs signed the same in his presence and that they both subscribed same in the presence of said Mullins. That the said Mullins was in his right mind and capable of making a will.

It is therefore ordered by the court that said will be filed and which is done and the same is being probated and the clerk is ordered and directed to record the same as the last will and testament of the said John S. Mullins.
