I Elsie Kelly of the County of Knott and State of Kentucky of the age of 62 years and being of sound and deposing mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last will and Testament in manner following that is to say
First: I direct my executor hereinafter named to pay out of my money, all my burial expenses in a direct and ??? manner.
Second: I direct my executor hereinafter named to pay out of my estate all my just debts as son as possible after my death.
Third: I give and bequeath to my two children Monroe Kelly and Dicie Parks one dollar each.
Fourth: I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Loretta Smith the remainder of all my personal property, including all my household goods of any kind and nature, all my money and outstanding notes and debts of every nature and at her death (Loretta Smith) if she should die without an heir or heirs, then the property will to her ??? by me shall be divided equally between said Monroe Kelly and Dicie Parks or if either of them be dead it shall fall to their heirs as though they were living.
Fifth: I hereby appoint G.W. Kelly as the sole executor of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made.
In testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and seal on this the 8th day of June 1927.

The forgoing instrument was on the date thereof signed, sealed and published by the said Testator Elsie Kelly as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names as witness thereto.

This day came into open court W.G. Combs and Ollie Engle who states that the forgoing instrument this day filed for probate is the last will and Testament of Elsie Kelly, that said will was written by W.G. Combs one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that Ollie Engle was one of the subscribing witnesses thereto (?the will?)

was signed by the Testator in their presence and at her request was signed by W.G. Combs and Ollie Engle as witnesses thereto in her presence and in the presence of each other.
It is therefore ordered by the court that the said will be filed which is done and the same is probated as the last will and Testament of Elsie Kelly and the Clerk of the Knott County Court is ordered and directed to record the same as the last will and Testament of the said Elsie Kelly.

I John Sturgill Clerk of the Knott County Court do certify that the above and forgoing will of Elsie Kelly was filed for probate on the 16th day of April 1928 in the County Clerks Office and that same was probated and ordered to be recorded which is now done accordingly in Will Book No. 1 Page 176.
