LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

P. M. DUKE

To all whom  these presents shall come greeting know ye that I P.M. Duke of Knott County Ky. being of sound mind and disposing memory do herby for my last will and testament will and bequeath unto my son Richard W. Duke and my daughter Arminta Duke to take humbly at my death subject to the life estate of my wife Nancy Duke all and singular all my real property which is to include and embrace my home farm upon which I now live reserving the possessions of some to myself and wife during our lives.  In testimony whereof. Witness my hand This 27th June 1894.

On motion of R. W. Duke the last will and testament of P.M. Duke deceased proven to be genuine by J.M. Baker one of the attesting witness thereunto and the same now admitted to probate and ordered to be spread at large the Record of this Court prepared for that purpose hereby attest.                                 R. I  R. H. Amburgey Clerk of the Knott County Court for the County Knott and State aforesaid do certify that the foregoing Will of P.M. Duke deceased to Nancy Duke and Richard Duke and Arminta Duke was this day produced to me in my office for record and that I have truly recorded it together with the foregoing and this my certificate in my said office given under my hand this
