Mrs. Nancy Jane Sayers, 85 of Covington, Dies After Illness

Mrs. Nancy Jane Sayers, 85, died early Friday at the home of her nephew, 
Logan C. Cambron, 404 Wallace Ave., Covington, after an illness.  Mrs. Sayers 
was one of the early residents of Covington, having lived here all her life.  
She formerly was an active worker in the First Methodist Church, Covington.  
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Horace Cambron of Covington.  Funeral 
services will be held Sunday at 8pm at the home.  Burial will be Monday in 
Highland Cemetery.  Allison & Rose, Covington undertakers, are in charge of 
the funeral.  

Note:  Nancy Jane Sayers was born 20 August 1845 and was the daughter of 
William Sayers and Jemima Jane Theobald.
