GODDARD DEATH OF W. W. GODDARD. After a week's illness of pneumonia, Mr. W. W. Goddard passed quietly away, Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, at his late home in the country -"Wildwood." He was born February 8th, 1820, in Georgetown and lived there and in Harrison and Kenton counties until the fall of 1857 when he moved to this county and has resided here ever since at the place where he died. On January 29th, 1857, he was married to Miss Sarah E. Glave, of Cynthiana, who, with eight children, survives to mourn his death. To them nine children were born, Nick, who died in Georgetown some years ago. The living children are: - Glave, Mrs. R. P. Curry, Mrs. J. B. Watkins, of Lawson, Mo., Ralf, of Seattle, Wash., Miss Rhea, and William. All were present at the obsequies except Mr. Ralf Goddard. Funeral services were held at the home, Tuesday afternoon 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. J. Nujent, of the Methodist church, and interment took place in Spring Hill cemetery in this city.
