Here are some of the people buried at HGA that I have records on:
Argo, Harry W.  d. 2/19/1926 and d. 2/5/1977.  He married Betty Carney, dau.
of John who lived up by Chisel Bridge.  Betty is still living....used to
live on Horsebranch Rd. when I lived there.

Bilz, Anna Marie b. 1819 and dApr 11, 1891...she was the wife of Valentine
Bilz 1823-1890

Evers, Francis should be "Frances"...1870-1924.  She was dau. Philip Kunkel
and Frances Mattern Kunkel.  Her first husband was Theodore Gripshover
1858-1901.  She married 2nd to Joseph Evers 1877-1922.  Joe Evers lived on
Horsebranch across the road from Philip Kunkel (lived at foot of Horsebranch
Hill...down hill from Orphanage where Philip and Frances Mattern Kunkel both
worked for the nuns, met and married.

Gripshover, Theodore (Bernard) 1858-1901 was b. Germany and entered USA
1869...he married Frances Kunkel dau of Philip and Frances Mattern Kunkel.

Hammer, Mary 1844-Dec. 18, 1916 (not 1917) this from death cert.  She was
wife of John (Johan George) Hammer....she had a son George Hammer who
married Lizzie Agen....Geo and Lizzie both bur. St. Cecelia in Independence
KY.  Mary Agnes was a Mattern, dau. of George Mattern and his first wife
Anna Marie Meling....Mary Agnes was the sister of Frances Mattern who
married Philip Kunkel, Immigrant from Darmstadt Germany.

Hammer, Georg (Johan George) 1838-1904 d. Oct. 22, 1904...husb. of Mary
Agnes Mattern 1844-1916.

Hemmer, Lawrence should be sp. Hammer (1835-1878)  He was m. to Margaret
Hemmer (should be Hammer) 1833-1890)  this Margaret was sponsored at HGA at
baptism by George Hammer and wife Mary Agnes Mattern Hammer.  They(Lawrence
and Margaret) had dau. Marian b. 1871 per the HGA records.

Kunkel Mother July 4, 1843 d. April 10, 1926...was Frances Mattern dau of
Geo. and Anna Marie Meling Mattern.

Kunkel Father April 20, 1840 Darmstadt Germany was Anton Philip Kunkel he
died same date, April 20, 1915.  He immigrated to NY in 1857....many
relatives still in Utica today.....they lived at foot of Horsebranch Road
hill.  He m. Frances Mattern (above).  They were the parents of 12 children,
many of the descendants still live in Kenton Co.

Lewin, Urban A. 1913-1971 was the adopted son of Fred and Mayme Lewin....per
Paul Mueller (relative)

Mattere, Georg (was Mattern....younger gen. use Martin for last name)  He
lived on Horsebranch Road.  married Anna Marie Meling and had Frances (m.
Kunkel) 1843 and Mary Agnes (m. Hammer) 1844.  Anna Marie died and he
married Bridget Kiefer and had John Mattern then Anna Mattern.

Merkle, Frank A. 1893-1956 married Marie Bramlage, then after she  died m.
Elizabeth Bilz.

Merkle, Christian 1834-1918, was a blacksmith from Baden Germany per 1880
Kenton census.

Merkle, Agnes 1833-1923 was wife of Christian.

Mueller, John 1837-1922....immigrated from Germany and m. Apolonia Godar.

Mueller, Elizabeth 1877-1952..she was Elizabeth Wiehoff.   m. Joseph Mueller
who was son of Immigrant.  Eliz. and Joe had Appollon 1905 who m. Wm. Dusing
and Ray 1909 who m. Eliz. Dwyer.

Mueller, Apollonia 1841-1912...wife of Immigrant John Mueller...she was
Apolonia Godar of Germany.

Mueller, John Jr. 1866-1919, was son of Immigrant John Mueller and his first
wife (don't have her name)

Rump, Mary P (Philamena) 1900-1973...her maiden name Gripshover dau. of
Theodore and Frances Kunkel Gripshover....Mary Phil. married William C. Rump
1892-1974.
