Pvt. Jesse Lemaster, son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Lemaster, Southside died on December 27, 1945 in the Philippine war zone, according to a message received by the parents Sunday. The boy's death occurred on his nineteenth birthday. Details are lacking as to the cause of his death.
