Ochel Kimbler


    World War II veteran Ochel Kimbler, 46, died Tuesday, March 3 in Grand Rapid, Ohio, as the result of an automobile accident.

    The son of the late Scott and Mary Jane Kimbler, he was born in Johnson County on August 2, 1923. He was a resident of Manchester, Ohio at the time of his death and was employed by Campbell Soup Co.

    Survivors included his wife, the former Coltine Mayhan; a son Ochel Kimbler, Jr. at home; three brothers, Dave Kimbler of Red Bush, Garfield Kimbler of Sebastian, Ohio, and Estil Kimbler of Portsmouth, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Ward of Columbus, Ohio. T

    he Reverend Ellis Hamilton officiated at the funeral services Saturday, March 7 in the Jones and Preston Funeral Home. Interment followed in the family cemetery at Flat Gap.
