James H. Puckett

Now serving in Rome, Italy, where the above picture was taken, Pvt. Puckett is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Puckett, city. He has been overseas about eleven months first being sent to North Africa and then to Italy.

Before going overseas, Pvt. Puckett was honored by receiving medals for Expert on Pistol, Expert on Rifle and Sharpshooter on Machine Gun. He has been awarded the good conduct medal. He father was a veteran of WW I and was in France for seven months.
