Burley tobacco has been a major part of the agriculture of Jessamine County since it's earliest settlements and makes Jessamine County the 13th largest burley producing county in Kentucky.
This photo depicts the burley at the last stage before cutting and hanging in massive barns until it is ready to be taken to market.
