This photo was taken from High
Bridge. It is overlooking the Dix River, where it empties into
the Kentucky River. At one time,
the Bridge was used by several
people to walk to work, also to visit family and friends.
The Bridge was closed several
years ago to foot traffic after a very unfortunate accident. It
is local
hearsay that several teenagers were playing on the
bridge when one fell to his death.
